We at EXT are deeply saddened by the fire at Tess’ Lark Tavern. Our thoughts are with you, Tess – and everyone who works there and relies so heavily on this treasured icon. Tess lets the Local 518 ROCK! and there is the weekly open mic. We want to help. Many in the community already are. This is when we all need to come together. Keep on rockin’, Lark Tavern!!!

Railbird release new EP.

Railbird are working on a new album. To tantalize us somewhat, they are releasing an EP at Putnam Den in Saratoga (3/26, Friday).

We talk with Sarah Pedinotti and Chris Kyle and hear the EP this Thursday night at 625p. It leads up to the Exit Dome 3 rebroadcast.

Gary Moon & Phil Henry release new cds

Gary Moon and Phil Henry have teamed up to have a co-CD release party at Caffe Lena on 3/20.

They appear on the Local 518 show playing songs from each other’s new CDs this Thursday and Sunday (18 and 21).

Exit Dome 3 Returns to the Air!

Exit Done Three featured great performances from Alta Mira, John Scarpulla, Ashley Pond Band, Matt Durfee, and Blotto’s 30th anniversary performance.

March 25th we’ll rebroadcast the concert in its entirety. The show starts at 7p.

Local 518 Goes to SXSW

We are very excited to note that Sgt Dunbar & the Hobo Banned and Phantogram will be joining the throngs of bands heading to Austin this month.

Catch Dunbar at Valentines on 3/10. It’s a big send off party! You can get a copy of their tour CD with cool new tunes and support them on their trip.
